Hun album Insomniatic (2007) en monsterhits als 'Potential Breakup Song' en 'Like Whoa' betekenden voor het tweetal vervolgens een wereldwijde doorbraak. Het nieuwe album a touch of the beat gets you up on your feet gets you out and then into the sun verscheen begin mei 2021. Het is een plaat van bevrijdende, alternatieve indiemuziek die de top van de creatieve reis van het duo weergeeft. De single 'Listen!!!' werd al door onder andere New York Times, Rolling Stone en V Magazine geprezen.

In 2020 werd het nostalgisch pop anthem 'Potential Breakup Song' een echte hit nadat het viral ging op social media platform TikTok. Daarnaast werd 'Attack of Panic' opgenomen in Billboard's '30 Best Pop Songs of 2020' lijst.
