Junior started as a one-man band but quickly grew into a group of 6 after lead singer Bert sent out a few demos to some friends and invited them to get together and jam. A year later, Junior heads into the studio to record the songs which would eventually become their first EP ‘Are We There Yet?’. It’s hard to put a label on Junior’s sound but listening to their music it’s easy to notice inspiration coming from songwriters like Bright Eyes , M. Ward or Wilco but also bands like Big Thief, Kevin Morby and Kurt Vile.
