ANNUAL REPORT 2020

What an intense year.

2020 was an exercise in moving in all directions at the same time, in looking for new angles, catching your breath and often gasping for breath. Nevertheless, in the past year, Trix has always chosen to do everything in its power to support musicians (new, young, experienced, inexperienced and established talent), to give them opportunities and to present a program to everyone who loves music.

Sometimes against our better judgment, but we cannot do otherwise. It's what we do. Music is and remains the art form par excellence for connecting people. Even in times of Corona.

The solidarity between the houses (art as a youth) and the many collaborations that grew out of it, brought Trix as a network house to a higher level. If there is one thing that we would like to take from 2020 to the following years, it is those intense collaborations.

An annual report is a simplification of reality. Many meaningful stories from the past year are unfortunately not included here. That is a shame, because the gratitude of musicians, young people, music lovers, volunteers, members of the non-profit association, administrators and partners was great and kept the enthusiasm of the Trix team going. It wouldn't have happened without those encouragements.
